I've been defending this post on another site. One of my pet peeves recently, and it's quite amazing to see some of the pee tarty fuckwit retorts to Mr. Freeman's views on this. Oddly enough, it means he is more correct than he knows.
Here is an excerpt from the comment section:

Morgan Freeman is right on the money about this. I'm not the only one to notice that there is a shrill, nasty and well monied segment of the society that holds nothing Obama could do or say would be good enough - even when what he does and says is far and away better than what so many white presidents before him did, with little to no criticism. When you keep raising the bar just out of reach because the president is Black, you are witnessing the newest incarnation of the Poll Tax.

Morgan Freeman is an ignorant fool. Can't you small minded liberals deal with the issues? Just call names, you are PATHETIC.

This guy [Freeman] is a idiot. When they call Bush a rotten presiden is that rascism? These idiot liberals know nothing. Tea Party people want Obama out because HE SUCKS! He only added 5 trillion to the debt in less than three years, has the economy headed south, and is using taxpayer money for him and Michelle to vacation all over the world. If that's racism, I guess I am one. Idiot millionaire libtard. Go away and crash your car you frickin old drunk.

High school in Texas is your highest level of education. I think that says it all.

KonaKane that's racist
KonaKane
@Dan Dicpinigaitis High school is a race?
Place it on Lucky Dan
Now Morgan Freeman. First Janeane Garofalo suggests that you should think a certain way based on the color of your skin -- and the Tea Party is racist?

Because our president has all the power in the country and our congress does absolutely nothing to impede or influence the policies and laws he passes.

@ Kara LeeAnn - On what planet? I suggest you review the Congressional record since Obama took office. I've voted in presidential elections since 1980 and I've never seen a president shown such disrespect and obstructionism from Congress.
FWIW, my comments got 6 likes so far, and a bagger's got 2. So who knows, maybe the truth may be catching on.
