Kamikaze: F-16 pilots planned to ram Flight 93

I just don't have the words to describe how this makes me feel...

What horrible choices. And the passengers on flight 93, knowing they may be headed into the Capitol or the White House, and trying to stop the hijackers, were faced with their own horrible choices.

It would have been a brave act and it appears they were willing to do it. When I put on my Army Uniform I had the same attitude. I would lay my life down even now as those on 93 did.

What baffles me to this day is why was our air defense do damn weak? What if they were military planes in our airspace? How could we have been so unprepared? How could the most powerful country with the most powerful military in the world be caught off guard? I just don't believe in coincidences, I am also not a huge conspiracy junky.....it makes no sense to me.
