The comments are priceless. Don't even need to watch this so-called debate because it's all so predictable.

RE: Twittering the GOP Debate 9-7-11
I got a kick out of the debate. They all wanted to get their 'experience' in there and their ideas to run the government into the ground. Was a slam how they put the candidates on stage.......center was Bachmann, Perry, Romney and Paul. On the far left were Santorum and Gingrich, on the far right were Huntsman and Cain. I think they called them the outer tier or something like that....a put down.

Perry did say right out that Social Security is a ponzi scheme! And that he didn't lose any sleep over all those people being put to death in Texas. Plus he had his head down but face forward....he looked like a no-neck. He thinks he's cute! Laughing2

Bachmann was treated as an also ran like the outer tiers. She sticks with the $2 gas and ran the word Obamacare into the ground.

Romney was sort of ineffective I thought. The same old crap we always hear from him....no pizazz.

Cain has his 9-9-9 plan and drummed it all night. Paul really despises the government and would pretty much dump all departments...let the states do it.

The Newt was feisty. Didn't want those commentators trying to make the poor pubs fight with each other. Does he think it's powerful to act like a brat?

Santorum is crazy as always.

Huntsman came across as the brain in the room, but as the outer tier he wasn't given much time.

They tried, but I don't think they touched PBO.

From where I sat it was all Obama bashing. At least Perry managed to acknowledge his foreign policy and OBL. Huntsman is about the only one I could tolerate in the WH without gagging.

I didn't hear any applause when he said that. And he went on saying nothing would be there for the 20-30 yr olds. He pretty much trashed SS and didn't back off. I hope every senior on SS got to see that tonight.

Yeah, if he and his lynching mob got a hold of SS..there would be nothing left in a month.

Hahaha. Oh the gloves are off now! Perry and Romney are going back and forth with each other about their jobs records. Perry said that Dukakis created jobs faster than Romney did and Romney lobbed back with “well Bush created jobs faster than you did.”

bush didn't create any jobs only death.

Interesting tidbit from TP: via TOD

8:47: The same Republican official in charge of the debate venue, the Reagan Library, happens to be the owner of Politico, one of outlets hosting the debate tonight. Frederick Ryan Jr., an executive at Albritton Media and chief executive of Politico, is also the president of the Reagan Presidential Foundation, the nonprofit responsible for the Gipper’s archive in Semi Valley.

Perry did say that, I forgot because he said so many stupid things. Calling the President an "abject liar" is the kind of bullshit teabagger comment you would expect from a neanderthal.

Hey Fire1, don't worry about that. I've done it too with the spaces in the quote area leaving me room to put my comment in there. Use the quote all you want, it does help to show what you are replying to.

It was a lot of Obama bashing, but nothing new. I thought Bachmann was her robotic self with the Obamacare repeats.
