Obama, the greatest presidential military mind since Eisenhower

Many Presidential canidates and Presidents themselves have tried to tout their military credentials. Some of them with quite humorous results, and sad attacks on heroes.

But one this is becoming increasingly clear.. not since Dwight D Eisenhower who headed up the D Day invasions.. have we had in the Presidential office such an effective military mind.

From his assessments with pirates, to the strategy that actually got Bin Laden.. to the flushing of Al Qaeda out of Afghanistan (there are estimates that there are less than 100 Al Qaeda in Afghanistan now and before the last surge, the Al Qaeda were starting to gain ground again in Afghanistan)

Now we have had the deft handling of the Arab Spring, and the eminent removal of Qaddafi.

This President has not stood up and crowed like a rooster on the barn.. but has been an effective tactician moving the world to a new reality.

I wish I could live long enough to see what the history books will say in 50 years.
