Japan sacks three nuclear power officials in shake-up
Three men in charge of nuclear power safety and policy have been sacked amid the ongoing crisis at the tsunami-hit Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant.

This is not getting better. I wonder if they will ever be able to assess the whole damage caused to the reactors.

it definitely does seem that they are caught in a vicious cycle of preventing deeper disaster, doesn't it? with the damage still spreading and changing, it's true, how can they ever finally know?

at least they are assessing the corruption that is so shocking to find in such a catastrophically hazardous industry.
may all countries learn from that!!
