RE: Obama press conference on negotiations with House GOP
It's now clear that the public signals about Obama being willing to make minor cuts to SS and Medicare was part of a strategy to show the public how unreasonable Republicans are being.
The vast majority of voters who don't read whining bloggers will see this. |

This is making the hair on fire press look as stupid as the pubs are. They scream a headline and use a hot word and get the headline clicked on. Look at yourselves press people, you have been had by your own greed.

Boner is going to make a statement as soon as he finishes his drink. Any bets on how much he cries?

This is a point I was trying to make earlier. Obama knows what he's doing. He knows this is just a game to the Repukes. How smart is he for throwing the SS and Medicare stuff in? I'd say pretty damn smart because the Pukes have nothing now to run home and slam Obama with. Well, they will to those who won't watch or listen to the President but as you said, the vast majority will now know it was never about SS or Medicare to the Pukes. |

Hearing that Obama told Boner the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy had to go away.

Unfortunately I missed the presser live because I was outside putting something together but I'm watching clips on MSNBC (and ignoring the BS talking heads and their opinions). He (POTUS) was really pissed off!!
