Warren delivers a big STFU to Nader crowd on Maddow show

If you didn't see Elizabeth Warren on Rachel Maddow's show tonight then try to catch it. Great interview!

So we've been inundated with the "jump to conclusions about Obama betraying us" routine because Obama committed the horrible act of nominating a progressive, pro-consumer advocate to head the consumer financial protection agency. Elizabeth Warren completely shut down Nader and others who are attempting to sabotage the progressive change Obama is making.

Warren mentioned her White House Blog post, which is must read. Here's a clip for those who haven't seen it yet.

The agency was declared dead several times, and weak versions and lousy bargains were offered again and again, but he stood fast. The person you falsely claim to speak for wants you to stop attacking the President who has fought hard for her and instead start attacking Republicans who are the real problem. In other words, get a fucking clue and end the circular firing squad!

Excellent! The firebagger outrage is predictable, but have ANY of them stopped to think this appointment might have been made because Warren has decided to challenge Scott Brown for a senate seat?

Or that maybe Warren believes nominating someone else will result in the agency being able to accomplish more. That's what she suggested tonight.

That would be an amazing thing. I think Warren would crush him. She has experienced the rough and tumble world of politics and she is up to the task.

I missed the show but will catch it on the rerun tonight. I think the PLs are using Warren for their own selfish interest.....to put down the President.

Around 7 minutes in it starts with the Warren story. My gawd, Elizabeth Warren ripped the pubs a new one!! No wonder they are so afraid of her. But she is 100% behind Condray and PBO.
