Fox News hacker tweets Obama dead

The @foxnewspolitics feed stated: "BREAKING NEWS: @BarackObama assassinated, 2 gunshot wounds have proved too much."

More than two hours after the malicious postings appeared, they had still not been removed.

A group or individual, calling themselves The Script Kiddies appeared to claim responsibility.

How low can they go? I just checked Faux Noise and there is nothing on there to denounce these fake tweets. Weird. Maybe the Secret Service is making them nervous. What would make people stoop to such ignorance?

Fox News' Twitter feed says Obama is dead in apparent hack

(CNN) -- FoxNews.com alerted the Secret Service on Monday about the apparent hacking of its Twitter feed for political news, after the feed was used to falsely report that President Obama was killed.

<..> Secret Service spokesman George Ogilvie said Monday that his agency "will be investigating the matter and will conduct the appropriate follow up."

<..> An article on FoxNews.com confirmed the hack.

"Hackers sent out several malicious and false tweets claiming that President Obama had been assassinated," it said. "Those reports are incorrect, of course, and the president is spending the July 4 holiday with his family.

It was hacked, my ass. Faux Snooze has long been known to do crap like put the wrong political party on a republican in trouble with the law (marking them as a Democrat instead) and then just shrugging with a "oops, our bad" when caught. They know damn well what they are doing.

New development: Apparently a highly placed exec at FAUX SNOOZE named Brooks is being investigated for her role in the "hacking". It involves the shang-hai of some recently deceased British girl's voicemails.

This gets uglier with every report.
