DFP Daily Thread
Good morning to all DFPers!

So sorry I forgot to post the thread yesterday as I had promised Pat. Completely forgot all about it!

So, much going on in the world today. Major heat in some parts of the country, other parts are flooding, anyone else think things are looking downright biblical lately?

What's going on in your world?

Julie

Thanks Julie. I got back home yesterday. Still waiting on the pathology report from the surgery. Hoping for positive news.

I'm very tired and the pain meds made me nauseous yesterday so I'm hoping to go without today.

I was born a Truman, but you can call me Pat. Wave

Another cool, rainy day in IL. Last week we sweltered, this week it's early spring. I'm grateful that I don't live anywhere near a flood zone because the creeks and rivers are getting plenty of new water. One thing is that the corn has gone from a few inches up to over a foot and a half. They say crops will be lessened because of all the rain, but it looks healthy out there now.

Glad to see you're home Pat. Take care.

RE: DFP Daily Thread
It's flat out blazing hot here. Highs for the next week expected to be around 110 or above.
We expect this a few times over the summer here. Heard one of the weather reporters laughing a bit saying we should be glad for heat like this or we'd have waaaay more than 3.5 million people living here in the Valley of the Surface of the Sun.
As soon as there is some shade on the pool I'm taking a dip.

RE: DFP Daily Thread
Not bad around here. It has been a wetter than normal spring, and we get a few days of warm weather then it cools down. The veggie garden is doing great so I can't complain! Garlic will be ready next month, tomatoes are starting to set fruit, peppers are not to happy with the cool weather, but aren't doing to bad, potatoes are growing like crazy as is the lettuce and spinach! Fruit harvest will be a little late this year, but doesn't look to bad crop wise.

Kind of humid. It rains hard every once in a while and then abruptly quits!

Hope you start to feel better, Pat - what good are pain meds if they just give you a new kind of pain.
