Freepers weigh in on Giffords
I’m upset that she’s drawing a paycheck despite being out of the office for 6 months.
If this woman cared about her constituents, she should resign so that her replacement could be representing them and working for them. This reminds me of John Stroger in Chicago. They kept his condition under wraps for months until they could work out a strategy to replace him with his son Todd... A time honored Democrat tradition also practiced by Ted Kennedy and Sheets Byrd. ... if she is close friend of Wasserman Schultz, she is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. She should resign and take care of her health and life. I hear she is a nutso eco-maniac and...her husband in my humble opinion is a traitor to NASA, standing by “Dirt Dog” POTUS Obama as he dismantled NASA and layed off hundreds of loyal NASA workers while he destroys the American Space program and weakens our nation!!! As usual, this whole dog and pony show was and is a farce!!! Wonder if Larry Flint has anything to say. She was an attractive woman prior to the shooting. It seems like they are protecting the public from some awful truths. With all the hedging on her condition by Gifford’s chief of staff, it’s highly unlikely that she will make a complete recovery. She will not return to Washington. It’s the behavior of her party using her tragic circumstances to use her for political purposes at the expense of the citizens of her district. That was my point: she’s not capable of functioning but the media hypes it as if she is. Meanwhile, voters in that district have no representation. Democrats are evil people. The poor woman may not even have the ability to know she is a Congresswoman. But, the DemonRATS will wheel her around like Sarah Brady wheels around Jim. Wasn’t there an episode of Star Trek like this? I’m thinking of the Nazi-like planet episode. She has a better chance than Terri, to be sure, but I fear she’s going to be turned into another James Brady: a posterchild for anti-gunners. Since she remains unable to do her job as Representative, the right thing would be to have her resign. So, Giffords is “struggling to communicate,” same as nearly everyone else in congress. Just ask We-e-e-ener, Boehner, Frank, et al. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2...&;page=1#1 |
