Script running and freezing me out.

Just today, for the first time, I have been frozen when I post. I get the box that says a script is running and do I continue or what. Anyway it has happened a few times this morning and it's making me wonder what is happening. Any ideas? It's only on this site.

The editor is a javascript application, and it may be freezing on your computer when you're using it. It could be one of a hundred reasons.

For starters, I would try clearing your cache.

Since this happened just today, it may be the banner up there announcing the announcement. I'll see if I can do something about that.

If worst comes to worst, you could block javascript on this site, and you'd get the fallback editor. It doesn't have any of the features (it's just a box to put text into), but it should stop the error.

Thanks. After a couple more freezes it seems to be doing ok now. If I have more trouble I will follow your advice.
