Some Democrats need to stand up in Congress and yell about this every single day.
Why is Blunt keeping quiet? McCaskill?

Because they're scared of the teabaggers. They know they'll be targeted if they go against them.
While I know you're correct, that just absolute makes my head spin.
If you cannot construct a campaign in Missouri against Teabaggers who try to condemn you for getting (or at least trying all you can to get) help for people in Joplin, you might want to consider a profession other than politics.

Yet they saw fit to complain that President Obama was in Europe for the G8 and didn't make it to Joplin until the day after he returned. Idiots.

When one is in pain, some memories are imprinted. The good follks of Joplin and the state will remember that President Obama was there and they will also remember the Republicans playing games with their lives and their livelihoods.
