Who would you never vote for?
A recent national poll from Quinnipiac University gauged the support of potential Republican presidential nominees.

The 1,408 registered U.S. voters were asked whether they would enthusiastically vote for a candidate or possible candidate, would consider voting for the candidate or would never vote for the candidate.

The results below don't include responses from voters who said they haven't heard enough about the candidate yet or had never heard of the candidate.

The telephone survey, conducted April 26 to May 1 via cellphones and land lines, had a margin of error of plus or minus 2.6 percentage points.

Palin and Trump's negatives are eye popping
Wonder if I can cross over and give one a boost in the primary come 2012?

RE: Who would you never vote for?
I'm surprised Crazy Michelle Bachmann only scores 26% on the "will never vote for" question.

The better known the Republican, the higher the percentage who would "never" vote for them! roflmao

Keep talking Republicans! Maybe getting more media access than we do is not a bad thing!

Any Republican
.

Confirmed, Fox "news" makes you stupid

The ones you are noticing are more terrified than anything else. They are lashing out because they are comfortable; and to acknowledge what is happening is a threat to that comfort. Ignore them, for they are not the voices that will rise in the coming days, months and years. They are not the voices of our collected humanity. They are the old voices of fear and impotence. - Anonymous

RE: Who would you never vote for?
My opinion is still (so far) that the Republican nominee for president in 2012 is still an unknown "none of the above." I don't think Karl Rove and the Kochs want another McCain/Palin kind of ticket dragging their gains of 2010 down the toilet like they did in 2008.

An unknown dull-as-dishwater candidate would do them less damage than a nut case, and guys like Frank Luntz will be screaming it in their ears if they aren't already. Defeating Obama at the polls will require help in the form of serious mistakes on Obama's part. On their own, they've got less than nothing to offer, so if they're going to lose the White House, as it seems at this point, they have to concentrate on damage control in Congress. My bet is that's exactly what they'll do. They'll nominate Alexander Throttlebottom before they nominate a Trump or a Gingrich.
