RE: Newt will official announce he'll run for president on Wednesday
He's a man of ideas and a Republican that I respect. As much as I'd like to see Obama re-elected, I don't have any dread about seeing Newt get into office. He'd bring some common sense, decency, and fresh thinking into Washington.

I think maybe some sources are jumping the gun here. The announcement of an impending announcement could go either way. I never thought he would run but I did expect him to run out the clock on his PAC collecting money, apparently a popular scam from the GOP grifters.
