In a development that will surprise no one, it turns out that President Barack Obama's decision to release his long-form birth certificate hasn't quieted members of the "birther" movement who promote the conspiracy theory that he wasn't born in the United States.

"Look, I applaud this release. I think it's a step in the right direction," so-called "birther queen" Orly Taitz told me in one of her many media interviews this morning. "I credit Donald Trump in pushing this issue."

But she still has her suspicions. Specifically, Taitz thinks that the birth certificate should peg Obama's race as "Negro" and not "African."

"In those years ... when they wrote race, they were writing 'Negro' not 'African'," Taitz says. "In those days nobody wrote African as a race, it just wasn't one of the options. It sounds like it would be written today, in the age of political correctness, and not in 1961 when they wrote white or Asian or 'Negro'."

Taitz says she's not giving up her fight. She also claims Obama isn't a "natural born citizen" because she uses a standard that requires both parents to be American citizens -- a misreading of the Constitution which if enforced would have rendered several other American Presidents ineligible.

As I just now stated in another post on this topic...

In reality, the birthers who carry around misspelled signs depicting ridiculously racist themes don't see anything more than N****r when they look at that birth certificate.

This assumes that they would even look at the birth certificate - which they won't - their mind was made up long ago when they saw what he looked like through the eye cut-outs on their pointy white hats. (and you can quote me on that)

My serious question is this. WHY IS THIS SORRY EXCUSE FOR A HUMAN STILL SOUGHT OUT BY THE AMERICAN MEDIA TO BE ASKED ANYTHING????

During the buildup to the first Gulf War to save Kuwait, German TV interviewed an Iraqi "businessman" frequently to get an "impartial" Iraqi point of view. After it was revealed that Saddam had placed the jerk as a German-speaking Iraqi propagandist in Germany, he was never again seen on German media.

Taitz is a Republican-financed clown out there for comic distraction to just about anything. GET HER OFF THE AMERICAN MEDIA once and for all. If I still lived in the States full time, I'd shut off any TV show that had her on and make it a point to boycott their advertisers. Anyone that still has her on is the "worst political team on television."
