When I found that cartoon, it seems especially moving, so I was looking him up to see who the cartoonist was. Interesting, I found out that Ron Rogers was the nation's only full-time African American editorial cartoonist at a daily newspaper. Then last fall, got laid off, so he is back to free-lancing.
It does seem like cartooning is done mostly by a bunch of white guys, now that I think about it. It is good to have a cultural/gender mix to get additional perspective.

I could see that one a bit different though. I don't think Obama would be peering out from behind a curtain. I think he'd be out there with a bucket of water dousing the flames while stomping on the fools who brought the burning cross.
