I saw that! How hilarious. And he's spot on that they are a bunch of clowns. Quite a comedown from President Obama.

Oh Look, A Subject Line!!!
Too funny. They should have had Romeny driving the car with a dog tied on top.

And again, this is why I think the one to watch is Huntsman.

You may be right but the question and the reality is...no one knows who Huntsman is....one of the TV shows sent a reporter out with a picture of Boehner the Republican speaker of the House.....Not one person on the street that they stopped could say who he was or even recognized his picture. Now apply the same test to Huntsman.....Huntsman who?

The only reason Trump is surging in the polls is because he is on TV.....and he is an ego maniac.

I have poo-pooed the idea of Huntsman running, thinking there is no way he could make it through a primary right now due to his former ties with the Obama administration.

Having seen this cast of clowns that are so far running, I'm starting to come around to your way of thinking.

Also, did you see that Huntsman has been giving speeches in early primary states? They're paid gigs at the moment -- things people asked him to do once he was clear of his diplomatic obligations -- but the pattern they are following strikes me as a little too much to be entirely coincidental.

RE: Hahaha!
This cartoon portrays EXACTLY what I've been saying all along.

The current roster of Republican "candidates" for president resemble nothing so much as group of circus clowns.

Think about the sequence here. At a circus, the spotlight is on a bunch of clowns, all running around making themselves look ridiculous, so that the act that follows looks very serious by comparison, and the crowd is expected to ooh and aah.

I'm sure that Rove, Murdoch and the Kochs are busy in the unlit background, deciding on whom they can put out there that will look "presidential" while willing to do their bidding if in office, just like W. As Obama will be hard to beat, they will try hard this time to see if the strategy works. If it doesn't remove Obama from office, then next time, they will make a real push, leaving no corrupt scheme out of the equation, just like they did in 2000, when they DID put a stooge in there who did their bidding.

For now, we are still at the clown stage. I don't know if the guy who drew the cartoon saw a post of mine somewhere, but the cartoon mirrors exactly what I've thought of the Republican "candidates" so far. I'm rather confident that their real nominee will be Mr. None-of-the-Above.

RE: Hahaha!
Love it!
This unintentionally humorous bunch is the group upon which Rove is going to have to build his "permanent Republican majority".
