Obama threatens to veto anti-EPA bill derided as ‘Koch Brothers Appreciation Act’
I think this is a hint the Democrats may have figured out a solid strategy. The veto threat itself is good, but what I find most impressive is the title of "Koch Brothers Appreciation Act". That's the sort of thing that will stick with the American people. Most people in America have little tolerance for politicians that put the desires of wealthy nasty billionaires over the interests of the American people.
Quote:The bill, named "The Energy Tax Prevention Act Of 2011" and sponsored by House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton (R-MI), is poised for a vote on the House floor Wednesday. It was approved by the committee last month. http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2011/04/05/ob...ation-act/ “Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do.” Benjamin Franklin |
