Ready, set, GO!! The naysayers are on the prowl, trying to cut the President down, to stop him from winning a second term. I say we are a bigger force and must keep the bs from taking away from the campaign. Use the tools we have, the promises meter, the fact checking, reading sane commentary instead of the vicious PL blogs, and standing up for our country, our President, and ourselves.

No nasty assed disappointed complainer is going to get by with telling lies and using innuendo to cast doubt where none is found.

President Obama announces 2012 reelection bid (video)

President Barack Obama has announced his 2012 re-election campaign bid, formally placing himself in the running for a second term. The announcement came via a YouTube video posted to the campaign website BarackObama.com. (same video as above)

It begins with people like me. And I'm fired up and ready to go!

Obama 2012 is underway!

I see there are plenty of naysayers out there, ready to cry foul over every one of their unrealistic expectations not being met. I recently had a fleeting opportunity to make a point about how harmful such behavior is. A couple of weeks ago we got about 500 people out to send a message to our shithead Gov. In the crowd around the end, when we had a few speakers, one of them mentioned supporting President Obama. Some ladies by me started telling each other how they had been disappointed in Obama. A few minutes later another speaker touched on how the R's always manage to act in unison, in spite of their differences. I said to someone I was with "That's how they always beat us, they get over it and move on. Our side would rather sit back and nit-pick and we achieve so much less." I knew those ladies heard me, as did everyone else around me. I can only hope my point was taken.

I am looking forward to 2012 and re-electing the President. I am hoping we can also elect lots of Democrats in many places. This last couple of months with extreme R Govs and their lackeys in the state legislatures have gone a long way in revealing their true colors. Hopefully we can get enough decent candidates to go against them to make a difference.
