LTTE - Republican Switched To Democrat

This is a great letter. It describes what is happening quite well, I think all over the country. Basically a nice normal guy who grew up in a nice normal family that happened to be Republicans. "As a child, I was exposed to radical information from programs like the McNeil-Lehrer News Hour and ABC News with Peter Jennings." Suddenly finds himself in the middle of cuckooville.

that is a great letter! it is especially important because this man, Dirk Rohne, clearly knows the issues, and put very serious thought into it all.

Again it seems he works hard in a bipartisan manner to achieve the most results for the greatest good.

The Democractic Party..for thinking people..His description of State Senator,Betsy Johnson, sounds like he could be describing President Obama.

I believe as long as many Republicans remained untouched by the National Politics of Republicanism they were fine with moving through their lives in their communities. What we are now seeing as the writer noted it's not about community it's about big business and laws don't matter to them. Republicanism today is about greed and destruction of whatever stands in it's way. I think we will find more of the Independents and Republicans waking up after the attacks on labor, schools, womens rights etc.

It is slowly happening but it is happening...
