Rep. Judy Biggert (R-IL)- "stop talking about jobs!"
Yes this is the same Republican Congresswoman who when running for reelection said:

She said this while she and her fellow Republicans were looking to make more people homeless by trying to repeal the HAMP program (that is designed to help people in trouble with their mortgages).

Here in here own words:

“Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do.”

I live in Illinois, but not in Judy Biggert's district (thank the gods). She's a gasbag.

Judy, where are the jobs that you repukes promised to create once you took over the House? Stop wasting your time fighting Planned Parenthood and defunding the CPB.

I know someone who successfully went through HAMP. I wish that more people would take advantage of it.

And another repub gasbag from IL steps in it:

GOP Rep. Joe Walsh: Government shutdown could be necessary

Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Ill.), who has argued that a government shutdown might actually be good for the country, did not back down from that claim today when he spoke to CBS News' Nancy Cordes on Washington Unplugged today.

"This is the most serious financial situation I think we've had. The American people get that" Walsh said. "And so if we need a jolt, if we need the government shutdown for a few days for us to really get serious, I think the American people are with that."

<..> Walsh will be joining the Tea Party Patriots this coming Thursday for a rally on Capitol Hill that they are calling a "Continuing Revolution," a play on the spending bill's official title, Continuing Resolution. The principal goals of that rally are to keep pressure on Republican leaders not to cave on the spending cuts or other policy provisions that were tacked onto the GOP bill to defund the health care bill.

The teabaggers think they own the country now, and they aren't savvy enough to realize the damage they will do. My gawd, what have the Koch's and the Rove's et al unleashed on us!

Recent polling shows teabagger disapproval is on the rise. The more people see of radical right extremists the more they don't like them, but they sure have amazingly short memories.

Krugman had a good blog post yesterday on zombies, showing how teabaggers are Hayek's dead ideas eating people's brains. We're in 1937 all over again.

Worse. We're in 1937 all over again with Fox News instead of "fireside chats."
