Prudential building site of Obama campaign HQ

WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama will base his 2012 re-election campaign at One Prudential Plaza in Chicago, a Democratic official said today.

Once the city’s tallest building, the skyscraper at 130 E. Randolph St. overlooks Millennium Park.

The headquarters is not yet open for business, though campaign manager Jim Messina reportedly is already working out of Chicago.

A beautiful building in a beautiful part of Chicago. I'm glad he's not repeating Gore's initial mistake of basing the campaign in DC.

I want my yard sign now!!! Even though I live on 30 acres of desert at the end of several miles of dirt roads, I had my Obama sign proudly in front of my house for UPS, FedEx and anyone else who came here to see! Tongue

This is exciting as in the intial stages of what promises to be a wild and bumpy ride..even more so than 2008 and we all know how far up and far down that took us! Shocked

The rumors are saying he may announce while in Chicago on April 14th at a big DNC fundraiser he'll attend. Whoopee!!!
