Batchit!
Confirmed, Fox "news" makes you stupid
The ones you are noticing are more terrified than anything else. They are lashing out because they are comfortable; and to acknowledge what is happening is a threat to that comfort. Ignore them, for they are not the voices that will rise in the coming days, months and years. They are not the voices of our collected humanity. They are the old voices of fear and impotence. - Anonymous

RE: CNN: Bachmann to form committee for White House bid
I was born a Truman, but you can call me Pat.

RE: CNN: Bachmann to form committee for White House bid
Reminds of the song "Stuck in the Middle With You" where they sing "clowns to the left of me jokers to the right..."! It just keeps getting crazier and crazier in the republican party. Seems like the crazier you are the more likely you are to run for president. I wonder if Glen Beck will form a committee in the near future?
All I can say is it looks pretty good for president Obama, and more "clowns" that jump on the "circus" band wagon, the better!

Ah, Bachmann, the expendable one!
They won't run anyone viable against Obama... it wouldn't be prudent! LOL!

Yanno, if i had any money, I'd be sorely tempted...
to contribute mightily to her campaign.
Partly for the show of Gingrich, Palin and Bachmann and others out batshitting each other, and partly to see if such a display could bring an end to teabaggery.

I'm not sure which woman makes my eye involuntarily twitch more. Bachmann or Palin?

RE: CNN: Bachmann to form committee for White House bid
The thing about this that really scares me is the fact that she could win. No seriously. Someone recently posted a thread about the ignorance of a suprisingly high # of the American people. If she somehow manages to get the nomination, you never know...
I lol'd when our (now) Gov. Paul LePage won the Republican gubernatorial nomination. I thought at the time that there would be no way he'd win w/his mercurial personality, teabagger affiliations and well-documented ignorance and lies. I'm not laughing now. He won w/only 39% of the vote, but that doesn't change the fact that he's now our Gov.

My prediction is the following:
1. They will try to out crazy and top each other in debates and rally's
2. The vitrolic and hate language we saw in 2008 will be tame compared to what we will actually hear and also what the MSM will choose to show. I believe we will hear racial hatred words towards minorities, gays, women, liberals etc.
3. I believe we will hear actual death threats against the Democratic leadership from Republican Candidates
4. I predict that the Teabaggers will start assulting Democratic events to scare people away from voting.
5. I predict that Democratic voters not only will not be bullied but any remaining moderate Republicans and Independents will swing to the Democratic side.
I predict that President Obama will win!

I agree! There is not doubt it will be a circus during the primary debates for a republican candidate, and it will all boil down to trying to out crazy the other guy to gain the tea party supporters. As you said that will alienate the moderate republicans and independents who will either sing to the democrats or not vote at all. I also think a whole lot of "Reagan democrats" will come back, along with their children who have been middle class voters for years, but are not seeing just how bad the republicans want to eliminate the middle class!
