Gov. Walker is under investigations for grossly overstating the support he was getting from citizens of Wisconsin through emails.

On February 17th his numbers were way off in a press conference:

"The more than 8,000 emails we got today, the majority are telling us to stay firm, to stay strong, to stand with the taxpayers ... while the protesters have every right to be heard, I'm going to make sure the taxpayers of the state are heard and their voices are not drowned out by those circling the Capitol."

After those misleading statements the governor was ordered to release the emails and pay $7000 for legal fees in a settlement with the Wisconsin Associated Press and Isthmus (a local WI publication).

Since sorting through the evidence, AP is now reporting that Walker had no business telling the press that "the majority" was in support of his labor-busting bill--sometimes emails were even pouring into his inbox at a rate of 5 -1 in opposition.

I read, in a piece on DFP posted yesterday, that a good number of the emails supporting him were from out of state.

Hmmmmm.......

I thought Walker didn't like interference from outsiders.

You got that right! They can't stop the lying, and time after time you hear them at the state level and the national level saying how they are doing the "will of the people", and that the majority of americans "want" them to do all the insane things they are now trying to do! Pure 100% BS!

They may be able to fool themselves with their lives, and fool their crazy far right base, but that's about it. The "MAJORITY" of americans are that stupid, even if republicans think they are, and as long as they keep doing things that "hurt the people", but help the corporations and the rich, they will be proving just who it is they really work for, and it's not the people!

Democrats need to start collecting all the lies they have been telling to use against them in the next election. Use their own lying words against them, it will work!

I'm sorry but he even looks like a liar. I'm just happy he got busted!..and now's there's going to be even more Protesters who pay their damn taxes against him.

All because his momma or daddy didn't teach him not to lie like a mofo.

I suspect greed is at the bottom of all their evil ways. If we are Progressives, they are Regressives... they want to go back in time to when there was a "God given" monarchy who are so much more significant than we, the unwashed masses who deserve but mere mouldering crumbs from their trash bins.

He just can't help himself, it's what Republicans do.

They lie as a matter of course.

If it was raining, they'd say the sun was shining, and tell you that the vast majority of the public supports their opinion, even though the entire state is floating away downstream on the flood waters.
