What an idiot. She didn't know the difference, that's all that happened here. And the "Obama press contingent", that's hysterical. The media doesn't report gaffes like this on Obama because He Doesn't Make Them! And she thinks she is competent enough to be President.

"Bachmann, the Tea Party darling who's considering running for president in 2012, acknowledged that she made a mistake when she said (incorrectly) over the weekend that the Revolutionary War started in Concord, N.H., not at Lexington and Concord in nearby Massachusetts, where the revolution actually got under way...

Bachmann blamed the "Obama press contingent" for not similarly scrutinizing mistakes President Obama has made, and said conservatives are simply the victims of a hostile media.

"That's just the way it goes. That's what we as conservatives understand," she said. "Only if a conservative makes a misstep is it considered interesting."

While we're on the subject, there is no such place as "Concorde" or "Conn-cord".

The correct pronunciation for the cities in Mass and NH is "KONG-kud".

I didn't know that..I lived in Tucson-Phoenix in the '60s as I've told you and always said incorrectly..and I just learned decades later how to pronounce it!
