Interesting story, this Buddy Roemer. He was a Dem who turned pub. Supported McCain and has been married twice....move over Gingrich.

Who? Did he got bored of retirement?

I'm looking at Wikipedia and it looks like this is the guy who lost a primary fight to David Duke. Wow. Smells like a winner to me!

I don't fault him. It's not looking particularly good for any of the Repub possibilities at this point. Lots of testing the waters, but no one jumping in. Probably afraid they'll be required to comment on what's going on in the country.

What with a half-term governor and an ex-Speaker who was forced to resign, Roemer may feel he's got stellar credentials.
