A Trump Voter And Facebook Insulter Talk It Out — In Person

From the article:
Quote:It's not often you get a chance to come face-to-face with that person who made a nasty comment about you on Facebook. But one interviewee from our Kitchen Table Series got a chance to do that.

Jamie Ruppert of White Haven, Pa. was featured in a story that aired in January.

She's a swing voter and like much of Luzerne County, where she lives, Ruppert switched from voting Democratic in the past to casting her ballot for Trump in 2016.
...
Responding to the claim that Trump voters didn't understand the consequences of their vote, Ruppert says she knew what she was getting with Trump. She liked that he talked about stricter immigration policies and bringing blue-collar jobs back to the U.S.

...

Trump voters are not totally stupid, but they are totally racist, tribal, and selfish. They did it because they want America great again (when was America not great?), or they're tired of people living off the gov't (meaning "those people" are living off the gov't when in fact the majority of welfare recipients are white. Illegal immigrants can't get gov't services, but they can pay taxes, but Trump voters don't care about that.), or he will bring back manufacturing/blue-collar jobs back to the US (says the guy that has all of his "Make America Great Again" hats and souvenirs made in China. If he cared about more than his back account, ALL of that would be made in the USA.) As noted in the article, too bad the rest of us will suffer along with the Trump voters, except they're the jackasses that will say, "It wasn't supposed to happen to me, just "them".) Rolleyes

Conservatism (n.), the irrational fear that somewhere someone you think is inferior is being treated as your equal.
