DOMA: "The amount Obama has gotten done...is breathtaking"

Rachel Maddow is doing her usual sterling coverage of just about everything tonight. She just had on Prof. Tobias Wolf to talk about DOMA, and in answer to questions from her said that the amount Obama has gotten done re LGBT issues in a bare 2 years is "breathtaking." He said he was "pretty darn happy" with the progress.

Her coverage answered most of my questions, so I'm pretty darn happy myself.

I saw that, Hekate. I was very pleased with what that gentleman said, and extremely pleased with Rachel's coverage of nearly everything under the sun.

Thanks for the report from Rachel on DOMA, Hekate. When I read about it..it sounded good but there's always those who will be looking for the negatives so this is good to know.

I love listening to intelligent people converse on matters they of which have a great deal of knowledge.

We need more of this in our national political discourse.

The shouters need to be marginalized, and the thinkers need to be promoted.


And President Obama shows us yet once again what a REAL statesman looks like.
