What part during the campaign, when he said "reach across the aisle" over and over, and also said "tax increases during a recession are bad", how did they miss this?

Angry Black Lady has an interesting take on all this, and I agree wholeheartedly. I frontpaged her post at my website, and she included a lotof links to other sites that have the same take.
