Gabrielle Giffords unaware of details of attack

I'm glad she has a strong family around her. When she does find out exactly what happened that tragic day, she'll need every one of them to support her.
Remember how upset we all were when the event happened. It will be like that for her but even worse because she knows she was the focus of the attack.

Poor lady. It seems like she can understand but not talk? I suppose she can't type or write either.

It will be hard to deal with, and learning about the attacker and his possible motives.

It has been reported that she asked for toast with her breakfast but I haven't heard about further developments in that area of progress.

I understand she's singing simple songs like Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and Happy Birthday. So it could only be a matter of time til she can communicate well enough to find out what happened that day.

I hadn't thought of her not knowing what happened. She has so much to heal from and it's a miracle that she's even on this path.

Well in terms of her healing, the longer she can be sheltered from the knowledge of the full extent of that murderous rampage, the better.
