Washington state GOP has new chairman
Washington has new state GOP chairman
by KING 5 News KING5.com Posted on January 23, 2011 at 12:44 PM Updated today at 2:25 PM TUKWILA, Wash. - Washington state's Republican Party has a new chairman. Former radio talk-show host Kirby Wilbur unseated Luke Esser in a party vote on Saturday. Wilbur says he hopes to take the GOP in a new direction. "I think the people of Washington need leadership that can explain the situation to them, explain the dilemma we're in, the financial problems we're in, and point the way to solutions, not politics or cliches, but how we got into the mess we're in," he said. Wilbur hosted a conservative radio talk show on Seattle's KVI-AM for 16 years. It went off the air in 2009. http://www.king5.com/news/Washington-has...52859.html IMHO, Kirby Wilbur is a nasty piece of work. I can't wait to see what "new direction" he takes the state party in.
Silence is consent. |
