A balanced look at Pres. Obama's first two years (foreign policy)
Foreign Policy magazine has decided to grade Pres. Obama's first two years on a wide list of foreign policy issues.
I think it's a balanced and fair look at the President's leadership on the world stage. Overall, they give him a solid B. But there is certainly room for improvement across the board. http://rothkopf.foreignpolicy.com/posts/...xs_wp_0003 Anyway, it's a good read. I think Pres. Obama will go down in history as a uniter and someone who sought an everlasting peace. While Bush was an ultimate extension of Pres. Reagan's ideology on the foreign front (unilateral intervention), I think Pres. Obama will prove to be an extension of Pres. Kennedy. |
