Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) appeared to be having some trouble delivering the GOP rebuttal to President Obama's State of the Union address on Tuesday night, when he awkwardly reached for a sip of water midway through his speech. Watch below:





LOL! I didn't even see that because I wasn't watching Rubio, but suddenly FB and Twitter lit up about the "water bottle," and thankfully TPM posted the clip, and what an idiot! I mean, I thought he was an idiot before seeing this, but now I can say confidently that he's an even bigger idiot!

When I saw that, I KNEW that would be the only thing remembered from his 'moment in the sun.' Which is fitting, given that 99% of what he had to say was lies, and damn lies.

Rubio had a choice. He could either float a positive message or he could pander to the base by attacking President Obama.

He chose to pander to his base. I think he made a calculated decision that he needed to do this in order to get the nomination. He probably thinks he can walk it back later on.

Haven't we seen this movie before? The ending works out well, for us.

I tell you the water gaff was a huge mistake...

My spouse and I were commenting that Rubio's lip smacking was worse than Romney's...that's all I could pay attention to...

Rubio's lies made it clear he didn't listen to the SOTU...another looser Repug who is an idiot.
