Regardless of how one feels about the Pentagon's act, women have been dying in combat areas during the modern age. Russia/USSR and Israel have had women in their regular combat units for years. It's past time to get the Puritanical attitudes out of society. BTW, the Puritans were kicked out of England; it's too bad their attitudes outlived them.
