Bachmann not paying staffers
It seems that staffers in Iowa that worked on her failed presidential campaign and were told they would be paid are still waiting. What I find most interesting in this story from The Washington Post can be found in the second paragraph (bold face mine) below.
Quote:The presidential campaign of Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) is refusing to pay five Iowa staffers and asking that they sign non-disclosure agreements, a former campaign aide has alleged. Much more at the link. Why would someone need a clause prohibiting talking to the police or an attorney about possible criminal activity? Somebody wake up the Iowa Democratic Party and get them to doing some digging. This could get interesting. "In a time of universal deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act." --George Orwell |
