Labor Secretary Solis resigning

I am interested to see who the posters here would like to see heading up the Labor Dept.?

My first thought was Mary Kay Henry, International President of the SEIU.

She would surely have a hard time being confirmed and the Republican's heads would explode more than they did over Hagel. I still think that if she could get through the process she would be great for labor.

This made me think about the odd double standard that people who oversee banking and finance regulation are expected to come from that industry, but the Labor Secretary isn't supposed to come from a union. What crap.

It seems they think if the Labor Secretary doesn't come from management it is unfair to business.
