PBO and raises for congress

Obama shouldn't give the congress their pay raises until they can avoid the cliff. They can't do their job but they are getting a raise. I find that to be crazy. Avoid the cliff and then get your raises. You don't give a child allowance for not doing their chores. They're acting like children we should treat them as such.

I think he should have passed out a "Democrat only" raise.


I think he should have cut Boner's pay to $0 for being a total failure and a wimp to boot.


I think there are bigger fish to fry than this lame story.

Well, I do think Joe Biden needed a raise.

And perhaps some additional non-rich people will run for Congress if the pay is a little better. But yeah, the current bunch of losers on the Republican side deserve nothing more than a kick in the balls.

The spin is how Obama is giving raises when in fact he extended the current wage freeze to the end of March.

Yes, he included in his budget 0.5% increases for Federal workers and 1.7% for military.
