A Republican official in Texas called for his state to separate from the United States and the “maggots” who reelected President Barack Obama in a newsletter he sent out this week.

Peter Morrison, who serves as treasurer of the Hardin County Republican Party, wrote in his post-election newsletter that there was a clear solution to the problem of Obama’s re-election.

“We must contest every single inch of ground and delay the baby-murdering, tax-raising socialists at every opportunity,” Morrison wrote. “But in due time, the maggots will have eaten every morsel of flesh off of the rotting corpse of the Republic, and therein lies our opportunity.”

“Texas was once its own country, and many Texans already think in nationalist terms about their state. We need to do everything possible to encourage a long-term shift in thinking on this issue. Why should Vermont and Texas live under the same government? Let each go her own way in peace, sign a free trade agreement among the states and we can avoid this gut-wrenching spectacle every four years,” he wrote.

Replace Texas with Puerto Rico.

We go through this every four years with Texas. But I'm keeping note of the name - no doubt this guy will be running for Congress or the Senate in the future and will suddenly develop "Romnesia" around ever having put his name to this vile slop.

Isn't it ironic that America-hating liberals never talk about seceding from the union. We'd happily kick their bigoted asses OUT if they want to go, but we don't find the need to be treasonous towards our country. Who are the patriots?

Texas is in the top 3 states for Federal Defense contracts, isn't it? All those high end military jobs at those bases around San Antonio?

What's left of NASA? Bell Helicopter--on which we spent $22 billion to build the V-22 Osprey--the widowmaker?

The one that has more Veterans Hospitals than California?

That Texas wants to leave the U.S.? Yeah, right.

This is just one jerkoff that many of us in Texas would be happy to escort to any border of his choosing, including the one to our south, or a boat on a one-way trip heading out into the Gulf.

To those who would lump us all in one boat, I'd say this--I know it's tempting with total losers like Rick Perry, Ted Cruz and Louie Gohmert. But remember people like Jim Hightower, Molly Ivins, Ann Richards, and the nearly THREE MILLION of us that voted for Barack Obama last Tuesday. If you want to cast all of us out of the sandbox, including yours truly, fine, but you'd be tossing some mighty fine babies out with the bathwater. FYI.

It ain't easy being a blue man in a red state. Don't make it worse.

Nobody lumps everybody all in one boat. It seems to me that making that argument is just a way to deflect the fact that one is flummoxed on how to solve the igorant bigot problem. As I previously said, I've got several counties right near me that voted in favor of Art Robinson. He's as ignorant as any nitwit right winger from Texas.

On Edit: Christ I've got business clients who are more ignorant than Art Robinson, even spout the Obama is a Kenyan Muslim bullcrap. How my husband puts up with them is beyond me. He lets me do business with the liberals, lol.

Ohio, maybe. Florida is fine. Iowa might need to be smooshed in somehow though. And I guess Virginia. Shocked
