The writer left out black people/African-Americans, the GOP's favorite target, along with immigrants. The dog whistles throughout the campaign were loud and clear, and the GOP's "southern strategy" won't work for much longer.

Question. I may have missed this one, but is the answer to my confusion over 47% of Floridians believing Romney would be better on Medicare... a dog whistle?

Did they keep pushing that "raided Medicare" line because they wanted old people to believe Obama was stealing from Medicare to give money to black people? It makes sense to me now, if that's what they were doing. No wonder they wouldn't stop with the $700 billion lie if the real goal was to get old people to think Obama was giving everything to blacks.

Watching Krauthammer Before Going to Bed
They are in full blown denial at the moment.

I'm going to relish all of the phases of their grief. They never progressed to the bargaining phase last time. Have they learned anything?

Lessons they WILL learn
That elections have consequences.

That you can't build a lasting majority on hate and greed.

That when you sleep with a bear your going to get eaten.

No Justice? No Peace!

It's hard to think they'll learn anything, much less apply it to future campaigns. The repubs are pretty much stuck in the mud and they like wallowing in it.
