It appears that President Obama is likely to go into Election Day with a very modest lead in the average of national polls.

Really just wanted to post the table as it shows that Obama is now ahead nationally by about 1% which now aligns better with the state polling. This was a concern a week or two ago and it's good to see it's all starting to make sense now.

We have always had the tub thumping; the overheated rhetoric and the lies and half lies.
But, I do not, in prior elections, the endless thumping of polling "data". Is this new? or, have I just noticed it this year?
