"(Ryan) is unwilling to debate the most credible challenger he has ever faced"
Quote: "...Ryan is also a candidate for re-election to his U.S. House seat representing southeastern Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District. And he is in a serious race for the seat. Ryan’s congressional campaign committee has poured money into an expensive television advertising campaign. And rightly so. He faces a highly credible challenge from Rob Zerban, a successful businessman and local elected official.

Zerban has raised all the right questions about the incumbent’s extreme policies and even more extreme reliance on big-money donations from special-interest groups tied to the insurance industry and Wall Street traders -- the interests that would benefit most from Ryan’s schemes to radically restructure Medicare and Medicaid while beginning the process of privatizing Social Security.

But, while Ryan is more than willing to spend piles of money to fight the challenge from Zerban, the congressman is unwilling to debate the most credible challenger he has ever faced in a re-election race.

That’s arrogant and irresponsible."

Ryan's chicken. He doesn't want to discuss his own policies and he'd have to.

Jaxx, it's amazing to me how Ryan -- a guy with a B.A. in economics -- is continuously hailed as some kind of genius without ever having to go beyond boring everyone to death with his stream-of-consciousness gibberish, and without ever having to give direct, substantive answers to direct, substantive questions.
