Cherokee Chief demands Apology

From TPM today we learn about the demand for and apology from Scott Brown.

Quote:Bill John Baker, chief of the Cherokee Nation, is demanding that Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) apologize after a video surfaced showing members of his staff make tomahawk chops and “Indian war whoops” at Elizabeth Warren supporters, reports the New York Times:

“The conduct of these individuals goes far beyond what is appropriate and proper in political discourse,” the chief, Bill John Baker, said in a statement. “The use of stereotypical ‘war whoop chants’ and ‘tomahawk chops’ are offensive and downright racist. It is those types of actions that perpetuate negative stereotypes and continue to minimize and degrade all native peoples.”

I doubt the Chief will get an apology but his statement is damning to Brown.
Elizabeth Warren should get an apology too.....who knew Scotty was hiding racism under his towel on the cover of the magazine.

I read that Scotty thinks the person who should apologize is Warren.
