That's all he has. He lies, he doesn't care about facts or the truth. He's crude, crass, boorish, and insensitive, to name a few. He has no class for someone in the top 1% and he's out of touch with the 99%.
But, he's white, and that's all that counts for too many.
Hey, Willard, how about those tax returns? That issue is not going away!
If you can't beat Barack Obama with this record, then shut down the party," conservative talk show host Laura Ingraham told Republicans. "Shut it down. Start new, with new people."
Reacting to Romney's failure to capitalize on those disappointing job numbers, columnist George Will piled on: "If the Republican Party cannot win in this environment, it has to get out of politics and find another business."
Even Rush Limbaugh had to admit, "Romney is not the perfect candidate." But that's OK, Rush insisted, because Republicans are voting against Obama, and not for Romney. "He may as well be Elmer Fudd as far as we're concerned."
It's not a good sign when the leader of the Republican Party compares his party's presidential candidate to Elmer Fudd.

What's sadder is that's the main reason that his "supporters" will vote for him. They'll say that they aren't racists, they just don't like Obama, but they can't tell you why. He's a socialist, a marxist, a muslim, not a real American, but they can't give an actual tangible reason, like a policy decision they don't like or don't agree with. However, the last President drove the country into a ditch and they enjoyed every moment. Notice that they wouldn't join the military and go die for GWBush*, but that's another post.
Mr. Romney's campaign now has a feeling of desperation.
This perception drives him to say more and more desperate things.
It is like an airplane going into a tailspin.
Very hard to pull out of such a downward spiral.
I do not think that the Romney campaign has developed any 'talking points'.
It looks to me that they are going to rely on the party faithful to get out and vote.
That means the people who vote Democrat have to be registered to vote, and, then vote,
You're right, Cannae1 - that can't be stressed enough.
And this is exactly right:
And the constituency I've seen that exemplifies this is the white, middle-aged, mid-level or senior executive working in law or finance. I've had so many discussions with folks I know who are this type of voter. First, they are cynical about politics beyond belief, and don't bother to keep up with anything - except that they will repeat the Wall Street Journal's false talking points about the Prez. The other thing is, they suspend their critical thinking abilities to say stuff like, Romney's better on jobs, or Yeah, but Obama's gotta stop spending! -- and even though these same guys have jobs where they daily have to run complicated numbers and understand them, or delve into the details of finely-worded legal agreements - they are willing to check their brains at the door in order to take Romney at face value and to ignore that Romney has never produced results on jobs, that he got it dead wrong on the auto industry, and that his budget would explode the deficit. I've long come to the conclusion that whatever reason they give for voting for Romney simply can't be the real reason - they're too smart. The graphic above says it all.
