Comparing the Press Memes from the two conventions
Day 1

GOP- Hurricane Issac was all the news
DNC- What a wonderful speech by the first lady

Day 2

GOP- How big a liar Ryan was and what a great speech by Ann Romney
DNC- What a powerful and great speech Pres Clinton gave

Day 3

GOP- Senile Eastwood has argument with chair
DNC- ???

Thanks of a little bit of luck and a luck of GOP incompetence (I guess crazy doesn't do competence) I think the Democrats are winning the convention battles

Yes both are up to speak tonight. Joe tentatively at 10PM for 25 minutes followed by PBO at 10:30PM.

Charlie Crist will appear sometime after 8.

Here's a schedule I found online:

Quote:6:00 p.m.

Events kick off at the Time Warner Cable Arena. The DNC is being hush-hush about the schedule of events.

Roll Call reports Former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., will lead the Pledge of Allegiance.

CNN cited a leaked draft of the schedule that says A-list actors Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman and Kerry Washington are the surprise guests. The rock band Foo Fighters is also reportedly in the roster. Actor Eva Longoria is also reportedly going to speak, according to AP.

8:00 p.m.

Actor Kal Penn hosts a Web-only convention special featuring famous Hollywood Democrats, including Elizabeth Banks, Aisha Tyler, Olivia Wilde, Fran Drescher, Zack Braff, Marc Anthony and Alexis Bledel. anyone have a link for this?

10:00 p.m.

President Barack Obama is scheduled to pitch his vision of America to the world. Vice President Joe Biden is expected to give a 25-minute speech prior to the president's address.
