Tucson Memorial
This will be tough to watch without crying.

A Native American is giving the opening blessing to a great ovation.

"I give thanks for this perfect day. Miracle will follow miracle and wonders will never cease."

The universe tends to unfold as it should.

RE: Tucson Memorial
That was really nice.

The President sings along with the national anthem.

"Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek." Barack Obama

Tucson is a beautiful city with many wonderful people. I'm glad this memorial will show that.

Danny Hernandez Junior is making me tear up...such a fantastic young man.

The memorial is truly a celebration of their lives. I think it's wonderful. There is something soothing about the President's voice.

What a truly giving speech. He wrapped it all together and brought this country together for one moment in time. I am so proud of President Obama.

A moving and powerful tribute by the President. I was both inspired and in tears by his tribute to all who were wounded and those who died, especially his entreaty to all of us to live up to Christina's expectations.

I'm choked with emotion just reading this thread and I haven't seen the Memorial yet. Thanks everybody for your eloquent summary.

I was fine until the puddle jumping line and then I just lost it. My heart goes out to those parents. Beautiful speech.

Me too. I swear I heard him wobble a bit when he came to his eulogy for that little girl. Cry He loves his own girls so much.
