<..> Update: The White House has released a brief advisory on Biden’s Florida trip: “Next week, on Monday, August 27 and Tuesday, August 28, Vice President Joe Biden will travel to the Tampa area and other cities for campaign events.”

Sending one of the candidates on the ballot to the rival party’s convention site is an unprecedented move; Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus has promised to respond in kind.

Nothing Joe Biden likes better than to be out talking to the American people about the accomplishments of the Obama administration. Of course, this will make some GOP angry because they dare to change an unwritten rule......sort of like not releasing tax returns when running for POTUS.

So do I. Romney has shown zero respect for President Obama in this campaign. He's lied and lied, he sent his bus to drive around and honk the horn during PBO speeches, and he sent hooligans to drown out Axelrod, not allowing him to speak to be heard at all. This is exactly what the GOP has coming to them.

Vice President Joe Biden will not be going to Tampa on Monday as planned. He has said that it would take resources away that might be needed if the hurricane comes in. That's our Joe, always thinking of the people first.
