Mitt Romney's False Welfare Reform Attack Ads

Published on Aug 14, 2012 by BarackObamadotcom

Mitt Romney says he wants to run on the issues. But the ads he's running are false welfare reform attack ads.

Here's what the reviews are saying about these ads:

-"Politifact, gives this the rating as pants on fire, which means really really false."
-"No, absolutely no truth to it."
-"Its another misleading ad about the President's position on welfare reform."
-"The actual wording, 'under Obama's plan, you wouldn't have to work, you wouldn't have to train for a job, they'd just send you a welfare check,' that is not factually correct."

Mitt Romney says to take the campaign "out of the gutter". Mr. Romney, take your own advice.

Total lying by Willard and his mini-me too and they are saying the same things on the trail today. Willard is severely mendacious.

This is the latest lying ad by Romney. It is blatantly false:

Paid In
Published on Aug 14, 2012 by mittromney

With every paycheck, Americans paid more and more into Medicare. Now, when you need it most, President Obama cut Medicare to pay for Obamacare. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan will strengthen Medicare and protect the commitments made to current seniors.

R/ R is counting on seniors being too addled to know the difference. It worked in 2010 - we can't let it work again.

What gets me the most is that the money savings Obama is realizing Medicare came by doing things the GOP always wants done. Cracking down on fraud, waste and abuse. When Medicare advantage companies were caught "fudging" they got cracked down on and the savings from that crackdown is a large portion of the savings being realized.

This is one of those ads that can cause ripples if it isn't stopped dead in it's tracks and that is what Romney is hoping for-- low info voter.
