Commercials
That is the most commercial breaks I have ever seen during Olympic coverage.
But, it must be said that the Queen did a splendid job of portraying the Queen.

It was great!
However; it would have been better if Lauer and Meridith weren't talking....just sayin...
Saw a tweet that said...."Wonder if Jack the Ripper will come and Kill Ryan Seacrest"!! Yes, it is crude but damn funny.....they hated his interview with the swimmer....and they played that over a piece of the Opening Ceremony that they chose not to show Americans.....
It was a nice ceremony.....

RE: What did you think of the Opening Ceremony?
I'm still watching the parade of nations. I thought it was very British, and unique. And diverse, which was like an extra little kick in the teeth to the Mittwit. Way too many commercials, way too many, and good god shut the fuck up matt, meredith & costas. I don't have an issue with Ryan Seacrest, (except he does not belong on Olympics coverage), but in this instance, he was more professional than the other dillheads..

Absolutely brilliant. Subversive, eccentric, surreal, political. Danny Boyle lived up to his reputation.
I hope Mitt Romney is gagging on the tribute to the socialist National Health Service.

RE: What did you think of the Opening Ceremony?
I thought it was very impressive. The opening showing the history of English industrialization was dazzling, and I enjoyed the salute to England's National Health Service, mostly because I know Mitt Romney was sitting there watching it and probably squirming in his seat as England showed the world that healthcare for all is something to be celebrated and not frowned upon! A jolly good show I say!
