The second amendment has been so polluted by the NRA that it no longer makes any sense. Back then it was a pistol or a long gun, single shot. And this nut wants us to think that 100 round clips were included in the right to bear arms?

I think Americans have reached their tipping point. I still sense something is changing and the Repug grip on America is in deep shit. These Tea Party politicians are looking at a very short window of staying in power.

They cannot defend this act of violence without suffering dire consequences.

Wow, how many lies and falsehoods can be crammed into a 90-sec clip?

People go hunting with semi-automatic rifles, not full-auto assault rifles.

Maybe if someone had a gun they could have prevented some of the deaths? May I remind Senator Teabagger about the Amadou Diallo incident. Guns fired by professional police; 41 shots fired, 19 hit Diallo and killed him. If police have a 46% hit rate against an unarmed person, why would anyone think that some yahoo with a carry permit could do any better against a fully-armed and attacking assailant?

As for the rights of the 2nd Amendment, that was written back when the people and gov't were at weapons parity. Today, a semi-auto rifle isn't much of a match against a helicopter gunship or any of the other heavy weapons the gov't can use. It's illegal for private individuals to own most heavy weapons and explosives, so there's no contest.

P.S. It's sad seeing Chris Wallace whore himself out on False News. He was actually respectable, unlike the sensationalist Geraldo or RW-liar John Stossel.
