Well, it’s about time!

They talked about this a few years ago, and now it’s come up again.

We’ve heard several people in the past couple of weeks who were talking or writing about what a BIG MISTAKE we made by giving women the vote in 1920.

These people, all far-right conservatives, said that because women are now voting, we have too many votes going for the Democrats. They said, “If women weren’t voting, every Republican candidate since 1960 would have won the presidency.” (Except Barry Goldwater, that is. Even women knew he was a little bit nuts.)

The male vote in 2008 was 49% - 48% for Obama. The black vote increased from 11% to 12% that year. So I would guess in a typical US Presidential election, it's likely that men vote for the GOP because white men vote GOP. At least in recent years. +

Which in any intelligent mind is an argument for more minorities to vote since so many white people are obviously voting for racism.
